House // Techno // Minimal // Dub Techno // Tech House

Londoners Carlos Ryan have been making waves in the underground electronic music scene for almost two decades. Their passion for garage and drum n bass in their earlier years fostered an unrelenting devotion to music and paved the way for their true love of house and techno to evolve.

In 2013 they collaboratively founded Arupa Music, a record label dedicated to unearthing the most exciting unknown talent, giving them a platform and creating a musical family of artists and fans alike. Since then, Arupa Music has continued to grow into a hugely successful, underground label, releasing only the most forward thinking music. Arupa Music has garnered serious industry support from a cross section of some of the scene’s most respected artists, including the likes of Rhadoo, Raresh, Petre Inspirescu, Enzo Siragusa and Rossko to name but a few.

Alongside their ever growing imprint, the duo are perhaps best known for their intelligent, captivating DJ sets, taking the crowd on a real journey through sounds. Working closely as a team, their style is characterised by rolling techno and house - high energy, yet scattered with groovy, minimal undertones. Their indisputable talent has landed them gigs at some of London’s most esteemed clubs over the years, including Cable, Corsica Studios and Crucifix Lane as well as at venues across Europe including Ibiza, Malta, Holland and Greece.

Further proving their multi-faceted musical credentials, the pair have also had a string of solid releases since beginning to produce in 2012, releasing a variety of EPs and remixes on a number of labels including Second step Records, My First Love, Enfant Records and of course their own label, Arupa Music.
